As well, you’ll find lots of other interesting information on color. For instance, for those of us who are constantly battling with our weight, the color blue is an appetite suppressant so try putting your food on a blue plate. Who knew!

My favorite is the Creative Eyewire Cards – a great resource for times when you’re feeling blocked.

Every quilt artist should have a design wall in order to test and preview fabrics and design components before sewing them together. Using a design wall to preview your choices alleviates a lot of unnecessary “unstitching”. Whether it’s a permanent or temporary fixture however will very much depend on the size of your sewing studio.

This great article by BellaOnline shows you how to make an easy and inexpensive portable design wall which can be put up and taken down at a moments notice.
